- I run Art Classes for Adult Beginners and Improvers in Watercolours and Acrylics and teach from the basics up, in a relaxed friendly environment, offering as much support as you wish. I keep the classes small and overall, we have a lot of fun! My classes are held in Atworth Village Hall, Wiltshire and I will also travel for One to One lessons and Self Supporting Art Group tuition. New for 2014 are my Gift Vouchers for Art Lessons.
ADULT BEGINNERS ART CLASS
If you have always wanted to try painting but don't know where to start, these classes are for you. I provide step by step tuition combined with lots of basic tips for drawing and sketching, watercolours and acrylics including which equipment to use and more.
The Beginners Classes are weekly, 3hrs each, with a maximum 12 students, and run for 10 weeks. The cost of the lessons are £55 a month x 3 months which includes 3 hrs tuition a week, all the good quality materials needed in the lesson and handouts as well as lots of Tea, fresh Coffee and Biscuits.
We will be painting a variety of subjects, including Fruit, Flowers, Seascapes, Landscapes and Animals. Handouts are included. You have the choice of continuing if you wish, on the Improvers course. Please contact me for more lesson details and a booking form
The Beginners Class starts on Tuesday April 1st ( yes, really!) from 10am to 1pm at Atworth Village Hall, Bath Road, Atworth, nr Melksham, Wiltshire, SN12 8JY. There is free parking behind the Hall and wheelchair access to the building.
ADULT IMPROVERS ART CLASS
If you would like to continue after the Beginners class, or you have previous experience in painting or just need a confidence boosting catch up, these classes are for you.
The Improvers Classes are weekly, 3hrs each, with a maximum 12 students, and run continually on a monthly basis. The cost of each lesson is £16.50 a week which includes tuition, all good quality materials, handouts and lots of Tea, fresh Coffee and Biscuits.
I will briefly remind you of the basics but the focus is on improvement. We will also be using different supports (canvas & board) and trying additives to get the most from your paintings. We will be painting Still Life and Portraits along with Flowers, Landscapes and Animals and lots more. I will also cover different types of perspective and how to use your own photos for paintings.
The Improvers Classes starts on Friday April 4th, from 10am to 1pm at Atworth Village Hall, Bath Road, Atworth, nr Melksham, Wiltshire, SN12 8JY.There is free parking behind the Hall and wheelchair access to the building.
