- Professional Part Time Independent School of Performing Arts for young people aged 3.5 to 19 years. The school opened its doors in 2002 and many of our oldest students now were our juniors when we opened.
Please see our website CVs of our experienced professional staff. There is also a facebook page. Junior & Senior sessions are on Saturday afternoons. Junior classes (aged 4 to 7 years) are for 50 minutes & Senior classes (aged 7 to 19 years) are for 3 x 1 hours sessions (Dance, Drama & Singing).
Sessions are fun and stimulating, there are many performance opportunities and regular small & large scale productions in local theatres. There is also an internationally award winning choir 'The Nidus Children's Choir' which the staff at Nidus run on a voluntary basis. In the last 18 months the choir has recorded with Bryn Terfel & Catrin Finch, won the title of 'Llangollen's Show Choir of the Year 2013', performed as the chorus in the full production of Sweeney Todd with Bryn Terfel, Wynne Evans and Shan Cothi and qualified then won a silver medal for Wales & UK at the World Choir Games in Riga, Latvia.
