- I run British sign language lessons for kids aged 6+
The course runs over approximately 35 weeks and is located in Westbrook. Sessions are £7 each but paid termly. payment is collected at the beginning of each term. Spaces are limited so please get in touch to reserve your child's place.
A fully accredited level 1 Bsl certificate is available through signature (additional costs apply) through the center I am working in partnership with which is Hi-Kent.
The course covers Deaf awareness, the alphabet, numbers meeting and greeting vocabulary, family,home, food, drinks, transport, weather and lots lots more. The course enables children to communicate with Deaf peers and promotes inclusion to all students. Not only does it aid communication it supports learning and is beneficial for children that learn visually or have difficulty absorbing information verbally.
