- I am a Manchester photographer based in Harpurhey just a few miles outside of the city centre. I offer my photography services to Lancashire, Greater Manchester, Yorkshire and Cheshire and can travel to anywhere in the North West. I have been involved with photography for over 15 years. Growing up in a little place called Carrbrook in Stalybridge gave me plenty of opportunity to get out and about and photograph the hills and landscapes of the Peak District, a hobby I still enjoy to this day. As I got older this passion turned into a vision of a career. Shooting my first wedding taught me that I loved to tell story's through photographs and that is what I aim to do when photographing any wedding, to tell the story of the day though images. Over the years I have gained experience photographing a wide range of special occasions and events; weddings, party's, christenings, proms, baby's and pets. Along the way I have achieved many qualifications including a Btec National Diploma in Photography and a B.A Honours Degree in Contemporary Photography. These days, in any spare time that I have, I find myself out and about with my family or my 3 dogs often with wy camera in hand!
I Like to take a photo-journalistic approach to my photographs - I believe a candid photo captures the true emotions, the real expressions, the happiness and the joy of the moment, whether this is your wedding day, prom, a children's party or the family dog enjoying their run around the park! Traditional photographs also add much to any special event and you can find examples of these throughout my portfolio.
