- Ourlives.Gateshead is a community interest based in Highfeild West Gateshead with a main aim of raising community wellbeing from here outward.
Ourlives has been set up by a local that lives in the area and cares a great deal about creating lasting positive change as she has witnessed many of the issues locals face, the community is very close to her heart.
We have a residents panel made up of locals that guide the work that we do to ensure we create the changes they need to raise wellbeing. Anyone living local to the area can join and have input.
So far we have hosted a Halloween house decorating competition and had a terrifying witch Doctor deliver the prizes followed by a Christmas house decorating competition and santas head elf delivered the prizes. We have also installed many community planters and a memorial bench and plan to do more.
